The Tune Weavers have returned and will celebrate their 60th Anniversary in 2016. The group was blessed with a hit record in 1957, “Happy, Happy Birthday Baby,” that sold over two million copies and has become an oldies classic.
The two remaining original members, John Sylvia and Charlotte Davis-Rose, have been joined by Dr. Burt Pina and Alice Fernandes.
John and Charlotte recently received Gold Records, signifying the success of the group’s signature song. They are also the recipients of the DooWop Hall of Fame of America Lifetime Achievement Award.
In addition to appearing on the PBS television My Music Series, The Tune Weavers continue to perform to sold-out audiences around the country. The Tune Weavers are here to stay!
